Cedarville High School Environmental and Spatial Technology (EAST) Program was selected as the first place winner in the Arkansas Department of Health 2013 video competition. “Celebrating the Power of Rural Arkansas’ EAST Initiative Video Challenge” competition was open to all EAST students nationwide.

The video team created an informational film on the Cedarville Health and Wellness Clinic being implemented on the district’s elementary campus. The winning video has been featured during an event in Little Rock and has been posted on the Arkansas Department of Health website.

Each member of the video team received certificates and the EAST program received a $250 Walmart gift card to purchase media equipment and/or supplies for the classroom.
