Forestry program

<p>Crawford County Conservation District along with the Arkansas Forestry Commission recently presented a fourth grade forester program in celebration of Arbor Day to the fourth grade students at Marvin Primary School. Each year a school from Crawford County is selected for the program. Students were each given a pine seedling tree to take home and plant in order to promote conservation and to remember Arbor Day. Students are shown with CCCD board member Wanda Meadors, James Jones with the Arkansas Forestry Commission and CCCD employee Sherrie Lech.</p>
