<p>Loren Ranell Norwood of Solgohachia, Ark., and Kevin Wayne Cluck of Rudy announce their engagement and plans to marry June 1 in Solgohachia. Ms. Norwood is the daughter of Paula and Doug Smith of Solgohachia and the late Daniel Norwood. Mr. Cluck is the son of Tammi and Jody Gregory of Rudy and Wayne and Kim Cluck of Fort Smith and the grandson of Bonni Sigler of Mountainburg, Brenda Gregory of Rudy and the late Joe Don Gregory, and Bobbie and Vernon Cluck of Chester.</p>

<p>Jerry and Barbara Sparkman of Van Buren will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with a drop-in-reception from 2 to 4 p.m. April 28 at Sparkman Barn, 3307 Ranch Road in Van Buren. They were married April 26, 1963, in Poteau by the late Rev. W.W. Kersh. Mrs. Sparkman, the former Barbara Gross of Fort Smith, is retired from the City of Fort Smith. Mr. Sparkman, a native of Van Buren, is retired from Ryerson Tull. The couple have two children, Melinda Hawkins of Van Buren and David Sparkman of Huntington and two grandchildren. They request no gifts.</p>
