<p><strong>Shepherd</strong></p><p>Bob and Gail Shepherd of Van Buren celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary Nov. 22 with a dinner party at the Movie Lounge. They were married Nov. 22, 1963, at the Baptist Tabernacle in Little Rock by the late Rev. Don Hook. Mrs. Shepherd, the former Gail Griffey of Little Rock, is a homemaker. Mr. Shepherd, a native of Little Rock, is employed by Southern Company of Fort Smith. They have two children, Marc Shepherd of Fort Smith and Melissa Horton of Van Buren, and one grandchild.</p>

<p><strong>Yates</strong></p><p>Gary and Sharon Yates of Van Buren will celebrate their 30th wedding anniversary with a trip to Hawaii. They were married Dec. 9, 1983, in Van Buren. Mrs. Yates, the former Sharon Sirmon, is employed by Jimmy Bell Realty. Mr. Yates is retired from AT&amp;T. They have two children, Twyla Ledesma and Tiffany Perryman, both of Van Buren, and four grandchildren.</p>
