Rescued dogs - Sept. 18, 2013

The Van Buren Police Department has announced dogs picked up by its animal control division Sept. 9-15. The dogs currently are at the department’s pen and may be rescued by calling 474-1234.

• Male golden terrier mix wearing olive green nylon collar found in the 400 block of North 14th Street.

• Female black lab mix wearing brown leather collar with Razorback emblem found in the 500 block of Northview.

• Male and female shepherd mixes, one wearing a camo collar and the other wearing a pink nylon collar, found at the Northridge Middle School.

• Female tan dachshund mix wearing black nylon collar found in the Legacy Heights Addition.

• Male black and white terrier mix found in the 300 block of Industrial Park Road.

• Male black and white terrier mix found on North Third Street just behind the Crawford County Courthouse.

• Male black, tan and white mix breed found in the 100 block of North 35th Street.

• Male tan Pomeranian mix wearing green nylon collar found on the Midland Bridge.

• Female tan chihuahua mix wearing a black nylon collar found at the intersection of North 21st Street and Maple Street.

• Male black, brown and white mix breed found in the 100 block of North 35th Street.

• Female tan chihuahua mix, recently had puppies, found in the 200 block of Henry Street.

• Female black, brown and white Dachshund mix found at USA Truck.

• Female brindle pit bull mix wearing orange nylon collar found in the 1800 block of North 28th Street.

• Male blue pit bull mix found at the intersection of North 6th Street and Jefferson Street.

• Male brown, black and white bassett hound mix found in the 2400 block of Taft Street.
