An Alma bus driver will be featured at an art exhibit in Van Buren during the month of June.

Ralph Wallace Ingram does more than just transport kids to and from school and events every day. He also works as a local minister and artist.

During the month of June an exhibit of Ingram’s landscape photography will be on display at the Center for Art and Education in Van Buren. Ingram specializes in landscape painting and photography.

“I feel that landscapes are more beautiful than any other materials or themes that I have worked with in my career as an artist,” Ingram said.

This will be the first time Ingram has displayed his landscape photography.

“I’ve shown my paintings several times,” he said, “but this is new for me.”

An artists reception was held Sunday to kick off the month-long exhibit. Also featured this month at the center are artists from the Fayetteville Underground.

Van Buren’s art center at 104 N. 13th St. in Van Buren is open Tuesday-Friday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and is located at 104 N. 13th St.
