The Crawford County Courthouse and other county buildings will be closed Tuesday and Wednesday, in observance of Christmas, according to County Judge John Hall.
State offices in the county also will be closed Tuesday and Wednesday.
Offices in the Van Buren Municipal Complex will close Tuesday and Wednesday as will those in Dyer and Mountainburg. City offices in Alma offices will be closed Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. The Cedarville Water Office also will be closed Tuesday and Wednesday.
Mulberry city officials will close at noon Monday and remain closed Tuesday and Wednesday. Kibler city offices will close Tuesday and Wednesday and the water office will be closed Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday.
There will be no mail delivery Wednesday and lending institutions will be closed. Regular post office retail hours and full delivery operations will resume on Thursday.
There will be no mail distribution to post office boxes and no mail will be collected from collection boxes.
The bulk mail unit and administrative offices will be closed. Express Mail will be delivered.
Press Argus-Courier offices will close at noon Tuesday and remain closed Wednesday. Offices will reopen at 8 a.m. Thursday to begin preparations for the Saturday newspaper.
Van Buren Chamber of Commerce offices will close Tuesday and Wednesday.
Libraries in Alma, Cedarville, Mountainburg, Mulberry and Van Buren will close Tuesday and Wednesday.
The Van Buren Yard Waste Recycling Facility will be closed Wednesday and Saturday in observance of the Christmas holiday.
Wednesday’s sanitation routes will run Thursday, Thursday’s routes Friday and Friday’s routes Saturday.
