An Elvis tribute artist with a new show in Branson will bring his talent to the King Opera House in Van Buren Aug. 24.
Joseph Hall will perform his Elvis Rock ’N’ Remember show at the King Opera House at 427 Main Street. The show is set for Saturday, Aug. 24, at 7:30 p.m. and tickets are $20 and $25.
Elvis Rock ’N’ Remember is a fast- pace show that exhibits the roots of Elvis, and caters to both the young and the young at heart, Hall said in a media release. Hall performs his tribute with a live band.
“My goal is to capture the essence of Elvis Presley, and continue to expose the music of the King of Rock ‘n’ Roll to younger generations,” Hall said in the release.
Through interaction during the show, Hall attempts to connect to his audience so that they will feel as if they are actually sitting at a concert of the King, he said.
Joseph Hall, 28, has been paying tribute to the legacy of Elvis Presley since 2006. He was one of the top 10 finalists on NBC’s Americas Got Talent in 2008, making six television appearances.
Hall has performed all over the world from Las Vegas to Porthcawl, Wales. He has worked with Elvis Presley Enterprises and Legends in Concert, and has been officially recognized as one of the top tribute artists in the world today.
Hall’s dreams were realized on Elvis’s birthday - Jan. 8 - when he was named grand champion at the Potawatomi Bingo Casino at the Tribute to the King Contest in Milwaukee, Wis.
Hall resides in Branson with his family, where he opened up his new 2013 show March 11 at The Americana Theatre. Hall has been performing in Branson since February 2010.
