Republican Party of Crawford County will present its annual Lincoln Day Dinner Friday, April 25, at Butterfield Assembly of God Church, 1302 N. 30th St., Van Buren.
Congressman Tom Cotton, a Republican candidate for the United States Senate, will be guest speaker.
“The Republican Party is proud to bring Congressman Cotton to Crawford County for our annual Lincoln Day Dinner,” said Mark Shaffer, chairman.
Cotton has represented Arkansas’ 4th congressional district since 2013. He is an Army veteran and a lawyer.
The Lincoln Day Dinner also will feature Congressmen Steve Womack and Tim Griffin, Republican Party of Arkansas Chairman Doyle Webb, Gubernatorial candidate Curtis Coleman and Gubernatorial candidate Asa Hutchinson’s wife Susan Hutchinson.
“As well as those dignitaries, we will have several county and state Republican office holders and candidates in attendance,” Shaffer said.
Doors will open at 5:45 p.m. State Sen. Bryan King will sponsor a meet-and-greet from 6-6:30 p.m. Dinner will be served at 6:30 with the program to begin at 7.
