Pleas - Feb. 8, 2014

In the 21st Judicial District Circuit Court in Van Buren Jan. 31, Judge Gary R. Cottrell heard pleas and sentenced the following:

• Chris Eugene Aldridge, 54, of Van Buren pleaded guilty to breaking or entering and theft of property and had a six-year prison sentence suspended on the condition he pay $2,260 restitution, $1,000 fine and $170 court costs and do 30 days of community service.

• Bruce Allen McGaney, 28, of Charleston pleaded guilty to second-degree forgery and fraudulent use of a debit or credit card and had a five-year prison sentence suspended on the condition he pay $800 restitution, $1,000 fine and $170 court costs.

• Isaac Emery Adams, 33, of Fort Smith pleaded guilty to non-support and habitual offender and was sentenced to three years in the Arkansas Department of Correction to be followed by a 10-year suspended prison sentence on the condition he pay $23,357 restitution.

• Robert Wayne Matthews, 47, of Willing, Okla., pleaded guilty to theft by receiving and had a five-year prison sentence suspended on the condition he pay $3,260 restitution, $1,500 fine, $170 court cost and $250 fee for DNA sampling.

• Christopher Lee Fritzgerald, 27, of Huntington pleaded guilty to two counts of theft of property and two counts of failure to appear and had a six-year prison sentence suspended on the condition he pay $2,827 restitution and $170 court costs.

• Laura Amanda Wallis, 36, of Uniontown pleaded guilty to possession of drug paraphernalia and habitual offender and was sentenced to three years in the Arkansas Department of Correction to be followed by a 1o-year suspended prison sentence. She was given time for time served in the Crawford County Detention Center.

• Randall Dewayne Myers, 24, of Van Buren pleaded guilty to possession of methamphetamine with purpose to deliver and possession of drug paraphernalia and was placed on six years probation. He will pay a $1,500 fine, $170 court costs and $125 drug task force fee. His driver’s license was suspended for six months.

• Rachel Nicole Spangler, 23, of Van Buren pleaded guilty to possession of methamphetamine with purpose to deliver, possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia and was sentenced to 120 days at a regional correctional facility to be followed by an eight-year suspended prison sentence. Her driver’s license was suspended for six months.

• Richard Allen Chambers, 40, of Alma pleaded guilty to theft by receiving and was sentenced to three years in the Arkansas Department of Correction to be followed by a three-year suspended prison sentence on the condition he pay $839.31 restitution, jointly and severally. He was given credit for time served in the Crawford County Detention Center.

In the 21st Judicial District Circuit Court in Van Buren Feb. 5, Judge Gary R. Cottrell heard pleas and sentenced the following:

• Johnny Lee Hunter, 25, of Van Buren pleaded guilty to theft of property and theft by receiving and was sentenced to two years at a regional correctional facility to be followed by a 10-year suspended prison sentence on the condition he pay $1,050. He will complete the long-term drug and alcohol treatment program while in prison.
