Charlene Fite (left), State Representative District 80, recently returned from a week long state visit as a guest of the Taiwan, ROC government. The Arkansas delegation visited all 5 branches of government, the World Vegetable Center, the American Institute in Taiwan, as well as meeting with various government leaders. Fite was selected for this trip because of her proficiency in Mandarin Chinese, as she previously lived in Taiwan from 1982-89. Rep. Fite, is pictured along with education minister Pi-twan Huang, Lt. Gov. Mark Darr and Kim Darr.
