Two more teams added for Trivia Night

Two more teams have signed up for the fifth annual Trivia Night to benefit the Boys and Girls Club of Van Buren.

Sponsored by the club’s Alumni Association, this year’s event will be held Saturday at Northridge Middle School, 120 Northridge Drive, Van Buren.

The two newest teams are sponsored by Experian and Citizens Bank & Trust Co.

They join teams from the City of Van Buren, Swaim’s Office Products, Crawford County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office, Cathy Gifford – Farm Bureau Insurance, Boys and Girls Club of Van Buren, Medlock and Gramlich Attorneys, Press Argus-Courier and Medlock and West Realty.

Emcee for this year’s event will be Ashley Beck, co-anchor of the KFSM Channel 5 news at 5, 6 and 10 p.m. Monday through Friday.

Registration will begin at 6 p.m. The trivia contest will start at 6:30 p.m.

There will be door prizes, complimentary dinner at intermission and silent auction.

Quiz categories are Cocktail Hour, The British Are Coming, Ducks in a Row, Where R U?, Faith, Founders, All in the Family and Marcus Welby MD.

There will be a $10 cover charge for spectators; cover charge will include dinner. No spectators will be allowed at team tables during the trivia competition.

Pairs and Spares won the 2012 Trivia Night.

Headliners, the Press Argus-Courier team, the winner in 2010, has finished second the past two years.
