<p>photos by KENNETH FRY</p><p>Max the dog enjoys the Veterans Day Parade in downtown Van Buren Monday night with Dillon Jenkins, Matthew Lamb and Alysia Mendoza. Mild temperatures drew the largest crowd ever for the annual event organized by Les Thomas Jr.</p>
<p>Kalelin King, 9, of Van Buren, a student at Parkview Elementary School, dressed as a Southern belle to walk with the entry from the Drennen-Scott Historic Site in Monday’s Veterans Day Parade in downtown Van Buren.</p>
