Agnes Gabbard

Agnes O. Gabbard, 89, of Van Buren died Sunday, Oct. 27, 2013, at a local hospital. She was a retired cafeteria worker at Van Buren Junior High School, member of Friendly Pentecostal Church in Van Buren and widow of Ben Franklin Gabbard.

She is survived by a daughter, Nellie Guinn of Van Buren; two sons, Charles Gabbard of Houston and David Gabbard of Miami, Okla.; a sister, Mary Savage of Fort Wayne, Ind.; six grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.

Funeral will be 10 a.m. Friday at Ocker Memorial Chapel in Van Buren with burial at U.S. National Cemetery in Fort Smith.

Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
