There will be a graveside service at 11 a.m. Friday at the U.S. National Cemetery in Fort Smith and no public viewing.
Barbara was preceded in death by her husband, Dwight H. Faldon Sr.
She is survived by her six children: her daughter, Yolanda Mullins and husband Larry; daughter, Gayle Williams and husband Mike; son, Dwight Faldon Jr., and wife Cindy; daughter, Tawana Bollinger and husband Don; daughter, Angela Brewer and husband Dale; and son, Jeff Faldon and wife Tammy; 15 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. Also, she is survived by her brothers, Kenneth and James Walters of Van Buren, and sister, Mary Pinkerton of Broken Arrow, Okla.
One of the greatest things about Barbara Faldon was her dedication to being a good mom. She was the glue that held us together, and we will miss her daily. She was always praying for her family and God has taken good care of us because of her. Thank you, heavenly father, for her and taking her just the way she asked, in her beautiful sleep.
