Charles Grayson

Charles “Chuck” Grayson, 72, of Cedarville passed away on Sunday, Aug. 17, 2014, at a local hospital. He was a commercial carpenter and an U.S. Navy veteran. He was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles No. 208 in Fort Smith. He was preceded in death by his parents, Dolphie Neal and Hazel (Seward) Grayson; and one sister, Carolyn Lynn Grayson.

A private memorial service will be at the U.S. National Cemetery pavilion with burial of cremains at U.S. National Cemetery in Fort Smith with Navy honors under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home in Van Buren.

He is survived by two daughters, Shelly Martin and her husband Jorge of Orlando, Fla., and Terri Ballestero of Palm Beach, Fla.; one sister, Brenda Noble of Arizona; one brother, Randy Grayson and his wife Martha of Cedarville; three grandchildren, Derick Tyler Harris, Jimmy Blake Arnold and Charles Zachary Arnold; and three great-grandchildren, Alexis Addison Arnold, Kylie Faith Arnold and Eli Robert Jerrell.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to Fraternal Order of Eagles No. 208 Charitable Associations, 3321 S. 66th St., Fort Smith, AR 72903.
