Clarence Parker

Clarence E. Parker, 87, of Mountainburg died Friday, Feb. 14, 2014, in Van Buren. He was a member and treasurer of Mountainburg First Baptist Church. He served in the Navy and was a retired claims agent and employee of Union Pacific. He was born June 12, 1926, in Frazier.

He is survived by his wife, Marjorie; a son, Tommy Parker of Sherman, Texas; a daughter, Beverly Ballagh of Ada, Okla.; two sisters, Lois Kelly and Bernadean Patrick, both of Ozark; six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Funeral was Feb. 17 at Shaffer Funeral Home Chapel with burial at Highland Cemetery.

Pallbearers were Gary, Garet and Jaron Ballagh, Eric Anderson, Richard Mirus and James Smith.

Honorary pallbearers were the men of Mountainburg First Baptist Church.
