Fredrick Fraley

Fredrick “Bill” Fraley, 68, of Van Buren died Monday, Jan. 6, 2014, at a local hospital. He was assigned to the 188th Air National Guard Unit in Fort Smith where he obtained the rank of senior master Sergeant before retiring in 2005. He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Fort Smith.

He is survived by his wife, LaVeda; two daughters, Jeannine Wiley of Kibler and Kellie Middleton of Fort Smith; a son, Michael Fraley of Van Buren; mother, Fern Bennett of Fort Smith; a brother, Jay Fraley of Kibler; five grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

Funeral will be 10:30 a.m. Friday at First Baptist Church in Fort Smith. Burial with military honors will be at U.S. National Cemetery in Fort Smith under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home Van Buren.

Pallbearers will be Jason Cook, Michael and Jonathan Fraley and Bill, Brad and Nick Keeter.

Visitation will be 5-7 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
