Imogene Etter

Imogene “Jean” Nelson Etter, born Sept. 24, 1928, in Kibler to Andrew B. and Minta Shibley Nelson, died March 29, 2014, in San Antonio, Texas. Professionally known as Jean Etter, for many years she was active in real estate in San Antonio. She was predeceased by her husband, Charles E. Etter; her parents; three sisters, Velma Kimbriel, Regeta Hassler and Geneva Courtney; and two brothers, Thell Nelson and Maynard Nelson.

She is survived by her two sons, Larry Etter and Glenn Etter and his wife Melanie, all of San Antonio; grandchildren, Leslie Etter (Levi) Modgling, Cale Etter and Kynleigh Etter; great-grandson, Parker Modgling; two brothers, Glenn and Dell Nelson, both of Fort Smith; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives.

Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Thursday at Fred J. Tips Mausoleum Chapel at Mission Burial Park Dominion North with interment to follow in the cemetery under the direction of Misson Park Funeral Chapels North.
