James McAdams

James Wesley McAdams, 77, of Fort Smith passed away Wednesday, April 9, 2014, at a local hospital. He was retired from ABF after 32 years in sales. He was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Fort Smith.

He is survived by his wife of 32 years, Diana Lynn (Parks) McAdams of the home; four daughters, Barbara Morgan of Dallas, Katie Monk and husband Roy of Prosper, Texas, Niki Sue and husband Kelby of Lubbock, Texas, and Melissa Noble and husband Steve of Lavaca; one brother, Ralph McAdams of Van Buren; six grandchildren, Travis and Ashleigh Monk, Regan and Cayden Sue and Breanna and Jake Noble.

Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Ocker Funeral Home in Van Buren with burial at Fairview Cemetery in Van Buren under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home in Van Buren.

Pallbearers will be Jack Toothaker, Robert McAdams, Roy Monk, Kelby Sue, Steve Noble and Wendall Westfall.

Honorary pallbearers will be Van Buren High School Class of 1954, Larry Webb, T.J. Lewis, Greg Bednarik, Jimmy McAdams and Joey McAdams.

Family will visit with relatives and friends 5-7 p.m. Friday at Ocker Funeral Home, 700 Jefferson St., Van Buren.
