Jimmy Webb

Jimmy Wesley Webb, 77, of Mountainburg died Thursday, Jan. 23, 2014, in Mountainburg. He was born May 21, 1936, in Arlington, Tenn. He was an air traffic controller and a Baptist.

Graveside memorial service with military honors will be 11 a.m. Monday at the U.S. National Cemetery in Fort Smith under the direction of Lewis Funeral Chapel in Fort Smith.

He is survived by his wife, Mary; two sons, Jim Webb Jr. of Council Bluffs, Iowa, and Michael Webb of Fayetteville; a stepdaughter, Becky Starnes of Arlington; a stepson, Danny Cowan of Fayetteville; four sisters, Lucille Remington of Hampford, Calif., Helen Goeppinger of Loveland, Colo., Doris Goodwin of Mountainburg and Lola Reece of West Sacramento, Calif.; two brothers, Donald Webb of Memphis and R.A. Webb of Jackson, Tenn.; four grandchildren and a great-grandchild.
