Kathleen O’Kelley, 80, of Rudy died Saturday, March, 1, 2014, at a local hospital. She was born July 22, 1933, in Lancaster, retired accountant and bookkeeper for the IBEW Local 700 JATC and for Thomas Gammill & Co. She was in charge of her voting precinct in Lancaster Township and was the widow of Freddy O’Kelley.
Service will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at Ocker Memorial Chapel with burial at the Steward Cemetery near Lancaster under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home in Van Buren.
She is survived by three daughters, Alecia Sawyer, Pamela Kimmons and Renita Chitwood, all of Fort Smith; a sister, Linda Downs of Spiro; four brothers, James Smith, Ronald Smith and Randall Smith, all of Mountainburg, and Frank Clois Smith of Fort Smith; five grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
Funeral will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at Ocker Memorial Chapel in Van Buren with burial at Steward Cemetery near Lancaster.
Pallbearers will be nephews Scott and Levi Smith, Tommy Downs, Dana O’Kelley and O’Kelley and Edwin Armer.
Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
