Leonard Huff

Leonard “Bo” Huff, 65, of Van Buren passed away Tuesday, April 22, 2014. He was born Nov. 18, 1948, in Van Buren to the late Leonard and Leona Huff. He was retired from Bekaert Steel in Van Buren and served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. He was a member of Oak Grove Baptist Church and enjoyed fishing, hunting and gardening.

He is survived by his wife, Linda of the home; a daughter, Carla Huff of the home; a son, Bryan Huff and wife Angelica of Alma; three sisters, Sherry Brown and Wanda Sterling, both of Van Buren, and Pat Brashell Crawford of Stuart, Okla.; his mother-in-law, Ollie Farrar of Van Buren; and four grandchildren, Blake and Avery Huff of Van Buren, and Isabella and Gabriel Huff of Alma.

Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Thursday at Oak Grove Baptist Church in Van Buren with interment to follow at Gill Cemetery under the direction of Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home of Van Buren.

Pallbearers will be Gary Dickens, Joe Paul Davis, Derek Davis, Mike Przybysz, J.J. Sterling and Marcus Brown. Honorary pallbearers will be members of the Men’s Sunday School Class at Oak Grove Baptist Church.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Oak Grove Baptist Church Parking Lot Fund, 4929 Industrial Park Road, Van Buren, AR 72956.
