Marie Langley, 73, of Mulberry passed away Tuesday, March 4, 2014, at her home. She was born Jan. 15, 1941, in Mulberry to the late Albert and Charlotte Medlock. She was retired from Therma-Tru and a homemaker. She was a member of the Open Door Church of Mulberry. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Homer Dow Langley; a daughter, Kerroll Cowan; two brothers, Odell and Paul Albert Medlock; two sisters, Ruby Mitchell and Dorothy Medlock; and a grandson, Markus Jordan.
She is survived by a stepdaughter, Cindy McCoy of Mulberry; a son, Bobby Morse and fiancee Janice McCoy of Mulberry; a sister, Mary Geraldine Harness and husband Tom of Mulberry; a brother, Kenneth Medlock and wife Stella of Dyer; six grandchildren, Kodey Morse, Tyler Morse, Gary Jordan, Jessie Jordan, Brianna McCoy, and Phillip McCoy; eight great-grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews.
Funeral service is 3 p.m. Friday at the First Assembly of God in Mulberry with interment to follow at New Cemetery in Mulberry under the direction of Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home of Van Buren.
Pallbearers will be her grandsons and a nephew. Honorary pallbearers will be Tommy Mitchell and Tom Harness.
The family will visit with friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home, 4100 Alma Highway, Van Buren.
