Wanda Webb

Wanda Tune Webb, 74, of Fort Smith died Wednesday, April 17, 2013, at a local hospital. She was born in Rudy to the late Ed and Mary Tune. She was a retired cafeteria worker for the Van Buren School System. She was preceded in death by two sons.

She is survived by her husband, Phillip Webb of the home; and a daughter, Tawana Wright and husband Chris of Fort Smith.

Memorial service will be 2 p.m. Monday at Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Chapel in Van Buren. Mrs. Webb will be cremated under the direction of Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home of Van Buren.

Dwane Chronister

Dwane Clishon “Chuck” Chronister, 83, of Van Buren passed away Wednesday, April 17, 2013, at a local hospital. He was born in Lamar, Ark., and was the son of William Aaron and Nora Chronister. He was a self-employed body/auto mechanic and a U.S. Army veteran. He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, William Don Chronister; and two daughters, Cheryl Poole and Sally Bynum.

He is survived by his wife, Thelma Chronister of the home; one daughter, Linda Kay Ogden and her husband Thomas of Muldrow; eight grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.

Funeral service was April 19 at Ocker Memorial Chapel in Van Buren with burial at U.S. National Cemetery in Fort Smith under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home Van Buren.

Earline Belisle

Earline Omena Belisle, 76, of Van Buren died Tuesday, April 16, 2013, at a local hospital. She was born Feb. 7, 1937, in Okmulgee, Okla., and a homemaker.

She is survived by a son, Dwayne Robinson of Van Buren; a sister, Jeanine Bentley of Fortuna, Calif.; a brother, Eddie McDonald of Fortuna; three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

The body will be cremated under the direction of Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home of Van Buren.

Anna Jones

Anna Mae Jones, 82, of Van Buren died Wednesday, April 17, 2013, at a local hospital. She was a homemaker, charter member of Lee Creek Baptist Church and widow of Frank Jones Jr.

Graveside memorial service will be 10 a.m. Monday at U.S. National Arbor in Fort Smith under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home of Van Buren.

She is survived by three daughters, Kim McGuire of Van Buren, Diana Pixley of Rudy and Rebecca House of Bay St. Louis, Miss.; a son, Matthew Jones of Fort Smith; seven sisters, Eileen Owens of Van Buren, Rose Staples of New Port Ritchey, Fla., Joan Parker of Brookeville, Ohio, Kathy Johns of Germantown, Ohio, Virginia Cline of New Lebron, Ohio, and Francis Hakes of Grantsville, W.Va.; three brothers, Frank Csaszar Jr. of Vandalia, Ohio, John Csaszar of Kentucky and Rick Csaszar of Trotwood, Ohio; 13 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.

Julia Womack

Julia Erin Womack, 30, of Fort Smith died Sunday, April 14, 2013, in Fayetteville. She was employed by CV’s in Fort Smith.

Memorial service was April 19 at Evangel Temple in Fort Smith.

She is survived by her husband, Mark; parents John and Debbie Burns; two sisters, Jennifer Morlan of Van Buren and Shelly Hastings of Woodstock, Ontario; maternal grandmother, Della McCarley of Van Buren; and paternal grandparents, Bill and Imogene Burns of Fort Smith.
