Oscar Lewis

Oscar Frank Lewis, 71, of Mulberry died Sunday, May 19, 2013, at his home. He was employed by Allen Canning Co. in Van Buren and a veteran of the Vietnam War.

He is survived by his wife, Mary; a daughter, Robin Astre of Mulberry; two sons, Wade Lewis of Van Buren and Terry Lewis of Alma; two sisters, Vickie McFadden and Marsha Craig, both of Van Buren; a brother, Rick Lewis of Fayetteville; five grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Funeral will be 1 p.m. today at Ocker Memorial Chapel in Van Buren. Burial with military honors will be at Fairview Cemetery in Van Buren.

Pallbearers will be Bryan Roller, Chance Brisher, Brittian Astre, Tony Box, Todd Lanphear, Kenneth Efurd and Greg Remey.

Bruce Klomfas

Bruce Klomfas, 75, of Van Buren died Friday, May 17, 2013, at a local hospital. He retired as plant manager from Capco Co. in Van Buren. He was also an employee of Cedars Country Club and the Fort Smith Country Club in Fort Smith for more than 10 years.

Memorial service will be 10 a.m. today at Gracelawn Cemetery Arbor in Van Buren under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home in Van Buren.

He is survived by his wife, Emma; two daughters, Pam Roberts of Mannford, Okla., and Brenda Dillman of Sapulpa, Okla.; three sons, Mark and Scott Klomfas, both of Van Buren, and James Klomfas of Natural Dam; two sisters, Diane Neumarker of Cleveland and Roberta Loukas of Tubac, Ariz.; two brothers, John Klomfas of Cleveland and James Klomfas of Rocky River, Ohio; 12 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Violet Provenzano

Violet Margaret Provenzano, 84, of Alma died Friday, May 17, 2013, at a local hospital. She was born March 27, 1929, in Ontario, Canada, and a homemaker.

She is survived by four daughters, Doris Kosier of Alma, Celia O’Doan of Reno, Nev., Wendy Dee of Orangeville, Canada, and Mary Saulnier of Brampton, Canada; a sister, Marion Ferrier of Eden Mills, Ontario, Canada; 12 grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

Cremation was under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home of Alma.

Heber Vicencio

Heber Vicencio, 56, of Van Buren died Sunday, May 12, 2013. He was born June 3, 1956, in Aldama, Chihuahua, Mexico.

He is survived by siblings, Petra, Noemi, Raquel, Oralia, Olga and Sandra Vicencio.
