Ratha Mae Lane, 90, of Kibler passed away Monday, April 28, 2014. She was born April 22, 1924, in Shoal Creek, Ark., to the late James and Lela Burnham. She was a member of the Faith Chapter 334 of Eastern Star of Carl Junction, Mo., for more than 50 years and a member of Kibler United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Roland Lane; a sister, Joyce Farnam; and three brothers, Larry Burnham, J.H. Burnham and Gene Iven Burnham.
She is survived by two daughters, Betty Cochran and husband Frank of Madison, Ala., and Lequetta Yates and husband Alton of Kibler; a son, James Lane and wife Penny of Kibler; nine grandchildren, Hallie Jarvis, Jamie Lane, Paul Cochran, Amy Yates, Mickey Lane, Kelly Painter, Monica Miller, Erynne Hamilton and Mark Lane; and 15 great-grandchildren.
Funeral service will be 1 p.m. Friday at Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Chapel with interment at Elizabeth Cemetery in New Blaine, Ark., under the direction of Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home of Van Buren.
Pallbearers will be Steve Burnham, Pat Burnham, Paul Cochran, Jamie Lane, Mark Lane and Mickey Lane. Darrell Stephens will serve as honorary pallbearer.
The family will visit with friends 6-8 p.m. Thursday at Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home, 4100 Alma Highway, Van Buren.
