Ruth Richesin, 88, of Van Buren died Tuesday, Aug. 5, 2014, at her home. She was born June 9, 1926, in Peter Pender, Ark. She was a former owner of the Van Buren Auction, member of the Extension Homemakers Club of Alma and Faith Tabernacle in Van Buren and the widow of Lawrence Richesin.
She is survived by a daughter, Diana Jones of Van Buren; four sons, James and Jacky Richesin, both of Kibler, Marvin Richesin of Van Buren and Lonnie Richesin of Cedarville; three sisters, Venia Sattazahan of Alma, Lula Goines of Owasso, Okla., and Vera Agnew of Caddo Mills, Texas; two brothers, Floyd Tipton of Alma and Mitchell Tipton of Van Buren; 13 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral will be 10 a.m. Friday at Ocker Memorial Chapel in Van Buren with burial at Gill Cemetery in Van Buren.
Pallbearers will be Ricky, Andy, Jimmy, Dewayne, Darrell, Bobby and Jason Richesin.
Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
