Steven Wayne Lynn, 49, of Keota, Okla., went to be with his Lord and Savior Monday, Dec. 2, 2013, in Enid, Okla. He was born May 30, 1964, in North Sacramento, Calif. He worked in the oilfield, was a member of the Woodmen of the World fraternal order and loved to noodle fish and deer hunt. He was preceded in death by his father, Sonny Lynn.
He is survived by four daughters, Mandra Lynn of Van Buren, Sylvia Phelan of Fort Smith, Kelly Nave of Van Buren and Shanta Fiemster of Alma; his mother, Frankie Lynn of Alma; three sisters, Francene Honea of Van Buren, Rhonda Burkett and husband Billy of Alma and Sandy Stevens and husband James of Tulsa; 11 grandchildren, several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews and many friends.
Funeral service will be 11 a.m. today at Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Chapel with interment to follow at Gill Cemetery in Van Buren under the direction of Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home of Van Buren.
Pallbearers will be Kevin House, Keraig House, Keith House, Joe Cedillo, Tommy Buckner and David Honea. Nick Denham will serve as honorary pallbearer.
