Vickey Ann Hall Selby, 62, of Fort Smith passed away Saturday, April 19, 2014. She was born Jan. 5, 1952, in Van Buren. She worked for Data-Tronics in Fort Smith for 29 years. She was preceded in death by her husband of 36 years, Jack Selby; her parents, Louie Palmer Hall and Wanda Williams Hall; and her grandparents, Maria Hall Atwood and Louie Palmer Hall, Sr.
In the course of her life, she was an inspiration to all the people that she came across in both strength and faith. The love she had in her heart was only outdone by the compassion that she had for others. She gave an example of how giving up is never an option and everyone who had the privilege of knowing her is truly a better person because of it. Her life was a gift to the world that no one will ever be able to forget.
She is survived by her children, Ammie Selby of Tulsa and Chad Selby and wife Cassi of Weatherford, Okla.; her siblings, Tammy Sprayberry of Van Buren and Rick Hall of Tulsa; two grandchildren, Skylar Selby of Tulsa and Wes Washburn of Weatherford; and several other nieces, nephews and cousins.
Funeral service will be 10 a.m. Wednesday at Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Chapel with interment to follow at Gill Cemetery in Van Buren under the direction of Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home of Van Buren.
Pallbearers will be Ken Medlock, John Mullikin, Mitchell Hall, John Hall, Adam Hall and Rickey Morrow.
