Wet weather has continued to hinder the start of Crawford County Speedway, but

clear skies and cool weather may allow dirt track north of Van Buren to get back on schedule.

<p>Mayor Bob Freeman introduced four new firefighters at Monday night’s Van Buren City Council meeting. From left are Ryan Decker, Michael Bass, Logan Darnell and Cole Ellison. Decker, Bass and Darnell just graduated from the Arkansas Fire Academy in Camden. Ellison complete the academy last year. Bass was named the top rookie of the recently graduated class.</p>
