<p>Mayor Bob Freeman introduced four new firefighters at Monday night’s Van Buren City Council meeting. From left are Ryan Decker, Michael Bass, Logan Darnell and Cole Ellison. Decker, Bass and Darnell just graduated from the Arkansas Fire Academy in Camden. Ellison complete the academy last year. Bass was named the top rookie of the recently graduated class.</p>

A Crawford County man accused of shooting and killing his father is being held in the Crawford County Detention Center on $500,000 bond.

Eddie Hice, 50, is accused of of second-degree murder...
