Local Racing: Wheeler, English clinch top spots in Grand National

The first running of the Mechanics races had 15 drivers divided into three groups on Saturday at Crawford County Speedway.

<p>SUBMITTED • The Alma Airedales’ 7U baseball team finished second at the 7U state tournament in Conway on Sunday. The team went 4-2 during the two-day tournament, with wins over Monticello, Sheridan, Ozark and Conway. The team includes Lawson Adams, Beau Black, Carson Curd, Easton Daily, Logan English, Dylan Jackson, Hudson Loughridge, Colton Nutt, Tristan Nutt, Jaden Peters, Landon Taylor, Michael Wilmoth, and Chase Wood. The Airedales are coached by Adam Daily, Doug Loughridge, Tom Black and Brian Curd.</p>
