<p>SUBMITTED</p><p>Over 40 campers entering grades third-ninth participated in the Van Buren Lady Pointer Basketball Camp held in June. The campers were instructed in fundamentals, as well as skill competitions led by the entire Lady Pointer coaching staff as well as current Lady Pointer players. Pictured with the campers is local State Farm Insurance agent Brad Thomas. Thomas has provided continued support and sponsorship for the local youth camps in Van Buren and surrounding communities.</p><p>(no description)</p>

<p>SUBMITTED</p><p>Van Buren High School Lady Pointer Jamilyn Kinney participated in the Premier Basketball Super 64 Tournament in Frisco, Texas July 6-9. Kinney’s team, the Arkansas Banshees Elite, were runner-up in the 64-team high school division. Kinney was voted to the All-Tournament Team, and chosen to play in the All-American Game.</p>

Van Buren High School Lady Pointer Jamilyn Kinney participated in the Premier Basketball Super 64 Tournament in Frisco, Texas July 6-9. Kinney’s team, the Arkansas Banshees Elite, were runner-up in the 64-team high school division. Kinney was voted to the All-Tournament Team, and chosen to play in the All-American Game.
