Mountainburg, Cedarville face conference opponents

The Dragons opened the week with a pair of losses to Magazine, but bounced back to beat Hartford 17-2, 13-3 in three innings in each game. Against Magazine, Mountainburg grabbed a triple play. Tyler Patterson caught a line drive and threw it to Kyle Pense (right) who tagged out the runner. Several thought that was the end of Magazine’s at bat, but the runner at third made a play for home. Trey Allen scooped up the loose ball near the pitcher’s mound and throws it to Elijah Wood to tag out the runner at home.</p>
