Prep Softball: Hoffsommer to join University of the Ozarks

<p>SUBMITTED</p><p>Alma High School softball standout Brooke Hoffsommer will continue her playing career at the University of the Ozarks, it was announced by Ozarks’ Head Coach Laurie Adkins. Hoffsommer, a third baseman, is a four-year lettermen and helped Alma High School qualify for the state tournament twice during her prep career. She helped her summer travel team to the 2013 state championship while hitting .526 and recording two triples. Hoffsommer has been on the honor all four years at Alma. She will receive a Commitment to Excellence Scholarship to attend Ozarks. She is the daughter of Tanya Hoffsommer. Ozarks competes in the 12-team American Southwest Conference, one of the largest and premier intercollegiate athletic conferences in NCAA Division III.
