Jamison English has moved from ninth to first in three weeks as he captured his first Grand National class win Saturday at Crawford County Speeday.
English debuted at ninth back on June 8 and finished fifth last week.
Clifton Drummond, who had three consecutive fourth-place finishes, was runner up and Randall Irvin placed third. Irvin has won Grand National races this season. Danny Southerland took fourth whil George Rudy had his highest finish this season as he grabbed fifth.
Last week’s winner, Billy Wheeler, was ninth.
After a three-week drought, Zane Hunter was back on the victory lap after winning the Street Stock class. Hunter has three wins this season with 10 Top 5 finishes. Chris Perkins, who was runner-up, has five wins.
Mallory Pinkerton took third while last week’s winner, Ronnie Lingo, clinched fourth. Jesse Garner rounded out the Top 5.
Anthony Reeves is one win away from matching his four-win string as he secured his third straight E Modified victory.
Reeves has won eight of his 11 races this season. He finished either second or third in the other three.
Dalton McKenzie finished runner up for the third consecutive week and has placed in the Top 3 in 14 of the 15 races this season. McKenZie had back to back wins on May 11 and 18.
Paul Whitworth was third while Victor and Shawn Pinkerton rounded out the Top 5.
Matt Reynolds grabbed his second Mini Stock win on Saturday. Scott Boyster and Edward Boyster each earned their highest finish this season at CCS as they placed second and third respectively.
Chris Tuck was fourth and Deah Hughes took fifth.
Last week’s winner, Axel Carter did not participate in the feature event.
Cody Smith was back on the victory lap picking up his second win in three weeks in the Front Wheel Drive class. Smith won on June 8, but finished runner up to Josh Jones last week.
Remington Watson was runner-up for the third time in four weeks and Willie Wood placed third.
Randy Payne was fourth and Jones finished fifth.
