Malory Pinkerton won her first Street Stock feature race after she finished second and the original winner was disqualified on Saturday at Crawford County Speedway.
Mallory Pinkerton won her first feature race this season after a disqualification bumped her to the top spot during Saturday’s races at Crawford County Speedway.
The Cedarville driver earned the win after she finished second followed by the disqualification of Sambo Parmenter, who rejected a tear down in the check area. Parmenter led flag to flag in the special Terry Brown Street Stock feature. Pinkerton accepted the tear down, she collected a $50 fee for the tear down plus the top prize $200.
It was Pinkerton’s first race back since July 13.
Chris Perkins, who has six wins this season, picked up his second consecutive runner-up finish while Will Lamproe was third.
Brian Risenhoover and Zane Hunter were fourth and fifth respectively.
CCS will host another double points night this weekend for all classes along with a Powder Puff race.
If 16 or more cars enter for the A Modified, Grand National or E Modified classes a top prize of $400 will be awarded.
Dalton McKenzie picked up his fourth win in six starts and his eighth one overall as he won the E Modified. Anthony Reeves, who has nine wins this season, grabbed the No. 2 spot after missing the last two races.
Tyler Harp took third while Shawn Pinkerton and Lee Whitworth rounded out the Top 5.
Charles Parker grabbed his second straight Mini Stock feature win Saturday while Edward Boyster was runner up for the second week.
Rusty Lemonier bounced from his 12th-place finish last week to third and Lucas Yutterman was fourth. Scott Boyster took fifth for his 10th Top 5 finish of the season.
Jess Sims earned his third win in eight starts in the Grand National feature class. Another driver earned his second straight runner-up finish, this time it was Ricky Smith. Last week’s winner, Roy Long, placed third and Chris Vaughn made his 2013 Grand National debut in fourth place.
Duane Rose placed fifth and Clifton Drummond was sixth.
Robbie Hines clinched his first A Modified win as Victor Pinkerton was second for the fourth consecutive week.
Jason Foster, who has nine A Modified victories this season, was third. Newcomers John Shoptaw and Michael Hines were fourth and fifth respectively.
Cody Smith becomes the winningest driver at CCS as he won his 11th Front Wheel Drive event.
Josh Jones, who finished 10th last week, was second while Randy Payne took third.
Jimmy Hamilton and Matt Hobbs were fourth and fifth respectively.
CCs had a variety of extra races on Saturday with Chad Lankford winning his third Vintage Cars class race. Chris Perkins and James Drummond each one a Mechanics race.
George Rudy defeated Jennifer Robertson in one Family Feud race and Josh Jones edged Chelsie Jones in the other.
