Tri-State Speedway begins 44th consecutive season on March 8 with the annual car show.
TSS will also host play dates on March 8 and 15 as the season kicks off with the 35th Annual Kegger on March 21 and 22. The annual event will feature five classes of stock and modified cars to compete for over $28,000 in prize money.
Other events scheduled for TSS include the 16th annual Super Stock Showdown on July 24-26, and the 35th annual Spooker on Oct. 15-18.
The Super Stock Showdown will feature drivers from the five-state area battling for the $5,000 to win the “A” Feature and close to $14,000 in other super stock prize money.
In the Spooker, over $50,000 is up for grabs in nine classes of competition.
TSS is planning additional events and big-money races for the 2014 season to be announced at a later date.
TSS will also host Oil Capital Racing Series (OCRS) sprint car shows on three dates this season: May 3, June 14 and Sept. 6.
